Theory of Electrical Power

Course Description

This course provides an introduction to electrical power theory, including amps, ohms, volts, coulombs and watts; solving power calculations; transportation from source to consumer; and understanding a power meter. As part of this class, students will be assembling small motors as a simple hands-on project to practice the principles taught throughout the day. Supplemental handouts included in cost of course.
