Course Description:
Field supervisors are integral to the success of any construction company and project. As the frontline managers, they are responsible for overseeing both workers and fellow field supervisors, as well as ensuring that operations run smoothly. Serving as both the driving force and the stabilizing anchor of the construction team, field supervisors propel the team towards peak efficiency while maintaining consistency and sound decision-making. To excel in this crucial role, field supervisors must possess more than just field experience, they must also demonstrate strong management capabilities in areas such as problem-solving, planning, estimating, safety oversight, scheduling, cost and resource control, and, perhaps most importantly, effective people management.
This 60-hour Project Supervision course covers key areas essential for success as a field supervisor, including: Orientation to the Job; Human Relations & Problem Solving; Safety Supervision; Quality Control; Contract & Construction Documents; Document Control & Estimating; Planning & Scheduling; and Resource Control & Cost Awareness
